UE4 crashing when switching levels in editor (4.9.2)

Well I guess this should explain what is wrong with my editor, though I do not know what all this means :stuck_out_tongue:

Please any info on how to solve this would be very helpful. Oh, and also I will not be updating to ue4 4.10 since the team i’m working with all use version 4.9. Thanks everyone.

Unfortunately the callstack you provided doesn’t have the information I’ll need to reproduce this on my end.

  • Does this occur in a clean, blank project with no additional content?
  • What steps can I take to reproduce this on my end?
  • Is this a c++ or a blueprint based project?
  • Did you get the engine from github or the launcher?
  • If you are opening a sublevel in the editor of the current persistent level, does that level have a navigation mesh in it?
  • Does this happen with all levels or is it a specific level that is crashing?
  • Realizing you have decided not to update to 4.10, have you tried to cause the crash in 4.10 to see if it has already been addressed? If you are using github and it has been fixed I can try to locate the specific change on github so you can include the fix in your 4.9 build.
  • Can you post your crash logs here so I can take a look? These can be found at \Unreal Projects\PROJECTNAME\saved\logs\ and should help to provide additional information about your specific crash.
