1 answer: sort voted first

You as a licensee under the EULA owe royalties to Epic of 5% gross revenue for every Product (as defined under the EULA - usually a game made with UE4) on a quarterly basis (every calendar quarter). But the first $3,000 in gross revenue (per Product, per calendar quarter) is royalty free. So if your game isn't making a lot of money, you don't have to pay any royalties.

So every calendar quarter if I've made 3000$+ then I pay 5% for that calendar quarter, correct?

Yes, for all gross revenue after the first $3,000
