There is no scrollbar displayed in the error log, preventing reading of entire messages, and link dispaly.

This has already been reported as UE-19559 and fixed. You can test this in UE4.11 preview 8 where a scroll bar has been added to the bottom of the window to allow you to scroll to the end of the line.
Let me know if you find this not to be the case for you.
