Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Update: I changed it to ETC2 instead of ASTC (I thought Galaxy S7 supported this format) I also realized the Android settings weren't configured - forgot to press the button. I'm able to build out now, going to attempt a GearVR build.

Gear VR doesn't build - it builds to a black screen (log file found here):

So ASTC for Android doesn't work ?

Not for Android 6.0.1 - This engine was built in the last 6 hours, right after the git push that Changed 'Gear VR surface creation'. https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/commit/bc07466533f7b602302692c341fdee786f3ebf88

Hi Sythen,

Due to the large volume of questions and comments concerning the Engine, we did not have a chance to respond to your post at the time you submitted it and, thus, the issue is now outdated. If you are still experiencing this issue in the current release of the Engine, please make a new post for assistance.
