Blender to ue4 shaders

Hello all,

I am new to ue4 and trying to figure out what should be setup in blender vs ue4. So I have a sphere mesh with an object inside it. The sphere will be transparent and be like a floating bubble power up.

I could technically do all that in blender but then does it import into ue4? I see textures can get imported but I was using the blender cycles nodes to get the effects I wanted.

Any help is appreciated

You can’t import other modeling softwares’ or renderers’ materials into Unreal. You’ll have to recreate them in Unreal’s material editor.

Thanks I figured as much, just hoping.
