Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Why is my characters Crouched Eye Height not effective in First Person mode?

it seems to me that the "Crouched Eye Height" doesn't affect the actual height of the camera while crouched. I would like to lower the view considerably. Any suggestions?

I have tried to re-read all the relevant documentation and no help. I even saw someone wondering the same thing in youtube.

Epic? Any suggestions on this? It's hard to crouch and crawl through a air vent when the head sticks out ;)

We are currently aware of the issue and its in our database for our developers to review. As a workaround, you can set the location of the camera when crouching similar to below to accomplish the same effect (adjust the Z tied to Crouch to the desired height and set it to default when un-crouching).

Just remember to use a timeline+lerp with a reverse for getting up again or a interp. So you can get a smooth transition :) cheers

If anyone is still looking for the answer the capsule radius is preventing you from going as low as you want so if you want to go lower, change the capsule radius to a lower value then change your crouch height.
