[Feature Request] UE4 Mannequin with T Pose

Currently it is not possible to manually adjust the arms and feets to fit the UE4 Mannequin to a T Pose

It would be nice if there could be either the option to set the default model to T Pose, or that a version is made available.

Related forum posts and previous Staff suggestions only hinted at the arms, but it also required to manually adjust fingers, hands, ellbow. I tried and results are still lacking.

The default model with T Pose would be very much appreciated. developers can then use for instance Fuse characters with retargeted animations, without the task to manually try to solve a complex abstract alignment puzzle. Thanks.

This can help some, but not really. Check this thread T pose for UE4 new mannequin? - Character & Animation - Unreal Engine Forums @ElChipacabra answer. Here is T pose attached with how to. But this help only a little with retargeting from mentioned Fuse for example.

I have “perfect” retargeting from Infiltrator to UE, good fingers etc, animations works, but mesh is still crappy. Character have hump, short neck and generally looks weird, if you pay attention to details.

This is because every mesh have own weight painted in 3d software and this is different for every character. So only perfect solution is to create animation for single character or tweak mesh in 3d software. For infiltrator redskirt, he have thick vest, normal body not have it and it affect animations and pose (hump or just short neck).

But still, T pose in some situations can help.
