Unreal Engine will not launch

my specs are

2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Its popping up with the loading screen but then nothing is happening.
edit there is just an empty window

Right off it looks like your PC may not be close enough to the recommended specs. To know for sure I would need to see your Dxdiag.

  • Go to the Start menu and type ‘dxdiag’ into the search bar. Open the file and then click ‘Save All Information’. Post that text file here.

Here are the recommended specs:

  • Desktop PC with Windows 7 64-bit or a Mac with Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later

  • 8 GB RAM

  • Quad-core Intel or AMD processor

  • DX11 compatible video card
