How to setup UMG Widget to interact in VR

Hey guys,

I’m currently trying to achieve a working UMG Widget in 3D World Space. Unfortunately I can’t interact with them when I use my crosshair.
I hope someone had a similar problem and could get a solution for that.

Yeah I gave it up.
Maybe using 's Function Library could help you with it.
Now I’m just using Raycasting to get my results. Not really happy with it, but what can I do :stuck_out_tongue:

I was able to get this working for a single menu item, but when switching to a new screen, the interaction fails. It may be best to use a custom solution until this component works better.

I just heard that in Version 4.13 you can interact with UMG in VR.

Yes, this is the version I was using. The problem is after you destroy an object, if it was in front of the next UMG widget, it can still obstruct the pointer. I fixed the problem by moving the UMG widget off screen, then deleting it.

Not sure why that is happening, maybe because its an experimental component, or because I may have another problem or be doing something else incorrectly.
