Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Media Framework in 4.11 Preview 8

Video that has been playing back at ~90fps for 3 months suddenly cant get about 44-45fps on 3 different machines after update to preview 8. We have tried downgrading the preview back to 7- but cannot seem to regain our 90fps, even in packaged builds (which seems ridiculous). We're thinking a driver of sorts was updated but cant seem to find anything anywhere. Playback is fine in other software packages, so Im assuming it is not a Windows wide update.

Hello TheAdmiral,

This issue sounds quite particular, and I might need you to share a couple of your movie files so I can verify what you are reporting on my end. You machine is plenty strong, so the drop in FPS shouldn't be a hardware/software issue.

Could you perhaps provide some screenshots of your FPS between the two engine versions as well?

Let me know if you have further questions.

Cheers,

Andrew Hurley
