4.11 Crashing on startup? Please help

System crashes on startup of 4.11. I’m asking it to load a game that I’ve been working on. Here is the error message.

Hi ,

I am unable to find the above information on our Crash Reporter site in order to compare to similar crashes. Did you hit “Submit” when the Crash Reporter Window appeared?

Also, when you say that you are asking it to load a game that you’ve been working on, what version of the Engine did you originally start the project in? Are you opening a copy of the project or simply trying to open the project with UE4.11? Can you create brand new projects in 4.11? Are you able to open the project in the version it was originally created in?

Please respond with this information and also, please try and recreate the crash and be sure to hit “submit” so that we can compare this crash against other crash data from our Crash Reporter site.

Since we have not heard back from you in a few days, we are marking this thread resolved for tracking purposes. However, if you are still getting a crash when trying to open a project you created in a previous version of the Engine, please respond with the requested information and we will continue to investigate.

Also, if you do not hit “Submit” when you get the Crash Reporter pop-up window, we will not be able to track this on our Crash Reporter, which is an integral step in identifying the cause of the crash. I mention this because we were unable to find a crash associated with the machine ID you have posted above.

Hi there, thanks for your repsonse. I am now just updating to what looks like another update to 4.11.0 Once ive updated I’ll retry and send any report to you. I should also note that I did press the send button. Will get back to you if it now works.

I have just updated to 4.11.1 have started my project with the new update and its now working.!!! Thank you for taking the time to reply. Much appreciated.

I’m having the same issue with version 4.11.1 and it still crashes at startup. Usually crashes around 70-80%. Can’t seem to figure out the issue, considering I just worked on a project yesterday without any changes to the scene.

I noticed the only thing that updated in the last few days was the Substance plugin. I uninstalled said plugin and now I can launch 4.11.1 just fine.
