Exporting 3ds Max models in FBX to UE4

So I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock on the project I’m working on. For a project I’m doing at school, I’ve been modeling modern furniture in 3ds Max and then export it to UE4 and make a little walk around demo, similar to the Paris demo, except not as good looking, but you get the idea. I’ve also been texturing the models in 3ds max as well, just because I have more experience with it and I find it much easier. So a while ago I ran into a problem where whenever I exported some models to FBX, the UV maps would all get messed up and pretty much ruined all the work I put into texturing. I then found a solution, which was to change the FBX exporter from 2014 to 2013, because the 2014 one was broken. After doing that, my FBX models were fine again. Fast Forward to this week, and I finally finished all my models and it was time to export them to UE4. Well turns out UE4 doesn’t support FBX 2013, so all the models I imported that used 2013 were invisible. I’m stuck, I have absolutely no idea what I’m supposed to do, because Autodesk still hasn’t fixed the FBX exporter, and troubleshooting online lead to no answers.

I’m using 3ds Max 2015, and Unreal Engine 4.9.2 (haven’t had time to completely reinstall to 4.11.0)
