I’m looking into building Unreal Engine for Linux. I put my GitHub username into my Unreal account information, but it also said that information such as my address was required. Is this required to access the source code? Also, I noted somewhere that a $19 fee was required for access. Is this still the case? Thanks!

But, I don’t believe the $19 fee was for the Engine, but was required for the subscription which was required for the source code.

I think you do need to give your address as part of your profile, understandable as Epic are giving you an engine and you will (hopefully) be paying them royalties some day.
As for the $19 fee, that’s not applicable anymore. Initially there was a charge for the engine but it’s not had one for a while now.
