Clicking in backround of widget loses control over cursor

In my menu widget, when I click the background the cursor disappears and I have to exit the game and restart to get it to work again. The widget blueprint consists of a small overlay in the middle of the screen parenting a border with some buttons inside, also the input mode is set to ui only. Is this supposed to happen?

I was having this exact same issue using 4.10, and it was driving me crazy, but I upgraded to 4.11 and the issue went away. Try updating to the latest version, it worked for me.

The opposite happened to me. It worked fine on 4.13, but, after I updated to 4.14, it broke.

Same here. Still using 4.15 and clicking the canvas panel hides the mouse and unfocuses everything.
