Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Are you sure you used 3dsmax for modelling? because that looks like it was ripped straight out of OoT.

Besides that, did you unwrap the mesh? did you make proper textures for it? how is your shader set up?

Hi luos,

Yes the model is from 3Ds Oot but i used Mudbox and 3dsmax to smooth and fix everything. The branches and leaves are my own objects so its not ripped.

Check the image for shader set up.

thanks.alt text

did you actually apply the branches/leafs to the tree inside 3dsmax? did you unwrap it properly? because in that image it looks like a very basic auto unwrap, and thats proooobably not gonna work.

Heck, even an 8k lightmap wont light up that tree properly that way.

Hi Luos, thanks for helping my,

Yes i applied the branches/leafs inside 3dsmax. And yes i used a basic auto unwrap, what wrong with that? i thought first it was a scaling problem not a mapping problem. hmmm.

thanks.

This will be hard to solve for me, unless I can look at the model, or guide you trough it real time :/
