Import failed of SM with Lods and multiple sub-objects

Hello,

I’m trying to import a mesh with multiple lods and where some lods have multiple sub-objects.
And when the option “Import Mesh LODs” is active, I always have the error :

Failed to import
‘…/…/…/…/…/…/Users/LP41/Desktop/SM_Setup02_LodGrp.FBX’.

Failed to create asset ‘/Game/SM_Setup02_LodGrp’

This only work if I don’t have multiple sub-objects per lod.

Is this a know issue ? (I’m actually working with the 4.10.4 version of the engine.)

Hey Dolmen,

This is a known and reported issue (UE-28315). Would you mind testing to confirm this also occurs in the 4.11 build so I can add that version to the bug report as well?

The only workaround I can suggest is to do the importing of Mult-Sub Objects individually. Let me know if you have further questions or need additional assistance.
