Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How to manage materials for Maya mesh?

Hi guys! I'm new at Maya 2016 and Unreal Engine 4, I am studying both softwares now. So, I've made a house model at Maya but I want to add the materials in UE4. The problem is: When I add a material, the material gets stretched or not a proper size to the mesh. How can I solve this? Is there a proper way to do this?

Thank you in advance!

ok, maya related questions should basically be asked on a maya related forum, but allright.

You will need to unwrap your model properly in maya first, and if you want to be sure that its unwrapped properly for that specific material, either export the material to use it in maya, or find a similar looking material. I suggest the first option though.
