2d map collision issue

hi,

i just upgraded my 4.10 project to 4.11, and one of my 2d maps have no collision, i don’t know why.

  • My Tileset have colliding tiles,
  • My TileMap’s floor layer have layer collides checked.
  • All of my characters, enemies, and others actors falls in this map.

There are somes tiles in my map that are still colliding (ramp, wall, ground) but floor don’t want. The weird thing is that my character fall all along the map, and if i remove the colliding tile on my floor tile, character stand on the inferior tile and don’t fall. I checked Y position and still 0.

So i replaced all my floor tiles by an other kind of floor tile, it’s worked fine, but after few save, these new floor tiles lost there collision like old floor tile and my character begins to fall… impossible to get collision back for both !

I’m just lost in this, and i don’t want to recreate this level

Any information about a 4.11 collision 2dmap bug ? i didn’t find it yet.

Thanks in advance

Hey RomFou,

Are you able to reproduce any of these collision issues in a blank project when you upgrade from 4.10.4 to 4.11?

You can try deleting your ‘Saved’ and ‘Intermediate’ folders within your Unreal Project directory for this specific project to see if that helps.

If I can get a way to reproduce this issue in a 4.11 project, I can write up the bug report so a fix can get under way.

Let me know if you have further questions or need additional assistance.

Thank you,
