Packaging Still Referencing Deleted Video Files. Why?

Hey!

I packaged my game and realized that the videos I imported weren’t playing properly on my iPhone. I decided to take them out however my build is still the same size. Why? Before I added the movie files my build size was 470 mb and after I added the movies it rose to a crazy 1.1 GB! I deleted every reference I had in the unreal editor and in my content folder on my desktop however it still builds to a crazy 1.1GB sum.

How can I get rid of all of those references so that they don’t package in my build? Is there a setting in the package settings that will rebuild only what exists? Is it a file or folder on my content folder that I don’t know about? I went through every folder and sub folder and I didn’t see any reference to my videos.

Thanks

Cheers!

I figured out the issue. I backed up the project on my external hard drive and it was connected to my computer when I packaged. Even if I opened up the project from my desktop, Unreal will still reference old or saved projects with the same name. If you back up your projects like an intelligent person would, make sure to either update your backups or disconnect them before packaging. Keep that in mind.

Cheers
