Set Timer Looping Lag

Good time of day, there is a problem with “Set Timer by Function Name”, when object is moving, visible freezes. When using “Delay” - they are not. Please tell where could be a problem - in the function, or I’m somesing do wrong. Below I give a demonstration video with a problems and image with “Blueprint” code.

I have a few questions for you that will help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Could you try adjusting your values to try and smooth out the movement?
  2. Are you using a spring arm with the camera?
  3. If so, what settings are you using with the spring arm/camera?
  4. Does this happen in a clean project?

  1. change values not give results;

  2. yes;

  3. target arm length - 500, & “Do collision test” - uncheck, other with camera - default;

  4. yes.

I forgot to note that camera to be in another file separate from the actor, and follows him through the “Set Actor Location” (image below). If i disconnect the camera, there is no problem. I had to connect the camera in such way, because i need to requires smooth camera movement between actors. If there are other ways, I will be glad to study them.
Actually, the problem I decided to use “Event Tick” on move element, may use it a little bit is not appropriate, but I’m still new in UE and lot of things I do not know.

The reason I asked about the camera and the spring arm is due to a known issue (UE-24725) that causes the sort of shaking that is seen in the video provided. With the new information provided I believe this to be the same issue that you are having. I will provide updates with any pertinent information as it becomes available.
