Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

4.11 Crashes on Launch

Hello! I just installed UE4.11 (was waiting on Substance support) every time upon launch I am met with this error:

This crash is related to attempting to open 4.11.1 while having the substance plugin enabled. What you'll need to do in the meantime until they release a fix for the plugin is go into your engine installation directory and go to Engine->Plugins->Marketplace and delete the substance folder. After you do this, you should be able to launch your engine.

Keep an eye out for a fix to the substance plugin in the near future, which should allow you to work with it in 4.11 again.
