What exactly is a lightmass portal and how is it used? I’ve done a quick google and I can’t find much about it.

Sorry, but I still don’t get one thing: do I still need a lightmass importance volume or I have to replace volumes with portals? I’m using ue4 4.16 THX
You still use a Lightmass Importance Volume. The Lightmass Portal directs where openings are (for windows, doorways) to direct them through the opening for better results.
