Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

UE4 LeapMotion+DK2, Character Movement

So, i tried playing around with unreal engine and leap motion. using a video tutorial i got the leap motion basic character to work, i can stand around, look around and move my hands. however, i cannot get my character to move, no matter what i try. i tried messing around with different blueprints, trying to create my own, but i just kept getting errors. the problem seems to be that the character gets built after you run it instead of the character already being there as an usable pawn, so i can not use any standard movement function.

btw, for testing purposes i just wanted to move forward whenever i "grab" with my left hand. the grabbing gets recognized, but i can't get my character to move.
