Specify Server Output Location

Is there any way that I can specify where a dedicated server will output its files? To be able to change the output location for example move the “Saved” folder to a location I can specify in a command-line parameter?

Hi Montana,

I just wanted to clarify that you are referring to packaging a dedicated server version of your project. Is that correct? Are you using UFE when you package your project?

Hi Montana,

We have not heard back from you for a while. Do you still need help with this issue? I will be marking this post as resolved for internal tracking purposes, but please feel free to add a comment and reopen the post if you need any more help.

Hi! I am not Montana, but I have a packaged dedicated server. I understand that you can launch it with a log window using -log, and I am curious if you can have the server save this log to a file (instead of requiring me to remotely access my machine and copy out the log every time).

If I should open a new question instead, please let me know - I am new here, thanks

Hi narvalouspeter,

The packaged server should save a log file for you. It should be located at WindowsServer/ProjectName/Saved/Logs. Are you not finding any log files at this location?
