I’ve searched for hours but no solution for my problem yet.
When I try do install AndroidWorks which comes with Unreal or the latest CodeWorks from Nvidia website the installation halts on “Downloading manifest file” in Nvidia AndroidWorks Component Manager. I don’t use a proxy - it’s my home PC, I’ve tryied the only solution I found - setting a http_proxy environment variable but to no avail.
I was wondering if there is a way to manually install all the packages, apis and sdks which are installed by the AndroidWorks setup? A place to download all those manually?
I’m curious as to whether it was a problem on the other end of the download. Now that it’s been over 12 hours, would you mind trying it again real quick just to rule out a problem at the download site that may have been resolved by now?
I have not been able to locate single manifest files for your installation. However, I have a few links that may be able to provide you with additional information and completely install the files.
[Unreal Engine 4: Android Quick Start][1]
[Nvidia CodeWorks for Android][2]
[Nvidia Download Center][3]
Please make sure you check your firewall and antivirus to make sure they’re not blocking the downloads due to a feature being switched on in the their settings.
I am running into a very similar issue. When I execute “CodeWorksforAndroid-1R4-windows.exe”, it tells me that my manifest file is broken. I navigated to the manifest.json file located in “C:\NVIDIA\CodeWorksforAndroid” and here is the content of the json file (it looks incomplete)…
