Render Custom Depth For Compositing

Hey all, I’m using “render customdepth” to get some meshes separated from the background when I render out from Matinee. The meshes look masked when viewing buffer visualization > customdepth in the editor but I cannot get it to render out using any separate pass in matinee.

Any suggestions?

So I noticed that custom depth is rendering in matinee it’s just dim because my cameras are so close. Is there any way to boost the intensity of the mask in engine or have peopple just been cranking the levels in post?
