Why does holding/pressing shift while in right-click WASD mode stop movement in Linux build viewport?

When I use right-click + WASD all is well. However, when I press shift to move faster the viewport stops moving instead of speeding up.

Hey MkJackson-

I believe what you’re seeing is the keyboard shortcuts taking affect. If you go into Edit->Editor Preferences->Keyboard Shortcuts you can find that Shift+ a/s/w are all bound shortcuts by default. If you want to increase fly speed with RMB + WASD you can hold the mouse button and scroll up on the mouse wheel. Scrolling down on the mouse wheel will slow the speed that the camera flies around the viewport.

Cheers

Yep, that’s right. Don’t know why I thought shift would make it move faster but a quick refresher through some tutorials reminded me that this doesn’t really happen by default; perhaps I was remembering Unity3D controls. Either way, thanks!
