Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Texture won't load.

I have this one, very specific texture that shows up as white every time I try to load it. The asset ID reference is good, and points to the right texture in the right location. The texture itself shows up just fine in the content browser.

You might be thinking: "Yulgalminakf, you just imported it wrong." Here's the thing, this very same texture worked fine for MONTHS after I imported it into the project. It loaded on the screen just dandy, with the same asset ID and everything. Here's another weird thing that makes me think it's a bug: if I export to TGA, then re-import from the exported version, it loads in the game perfectly, until I reboot the editor that is. When I close and reopen the engine, it doesn't work again and I have to reimport it again to make it work. Also, every other texture I've imported into unreal (with the same options, compression level, and all that other junk) works fine with no problems at all. It's that one and only image that won't load.

It is bizarre.
