How to prevent VR mode activation on fullscreen?

When starting my cooked game it switches to fullscreen (because that’s what games should do). But because I have a Rift connected it automatically switches to stereo rendering. How can I disable that? I want VR to be a feature which can be turned on and off in the menu but not automatically!

There are two ways you can do this in blueprints. Through a console command, or through the Enable HMD node. If you use the command, use disable, not enable like I have in the image.
