How can I install free content?

Hi there

I just downloaded UE4 and I want to play around a bit. I wanted to dload some free content and found this forum post. but how can I install the content if I didn’t dloaded it on the official marketplace?

Hello. First I wanted to say be careful about things that say UDK. UDK is not UE4. Basically UE4 is built on the same technology as the original UDK engine with a new look. However people still develop for UDK and it has its own forum seperate, though people don’t get this and sometimes say UDK when they mean UE4 but if their stuff is really built for UDK it most likely will not work. With that said here is how to use content downloaded. You need to make a new project so that a content folder is generated on your computer. UE4 looks to this folder for everything. Place the .uasset files in this folder and it should all work.
