Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Video Tutorial On Reading and Searching through c++ code

After seeing questions on the Programming channel of the Unreal Slack, I decided to create a video to explain to people how to use VS' debugging features and how to search through code to learn how Unreal implemented certain features. What is the procedure that needs to be followed for releasing this video?

I'll take your question to mean "from Epic's point of view" rather than just generally (like how to release a video on YouTube or wherever).

If it's just a linear, non-interactive video, under the EULA it doesn't matter if you are selling it or giving it away - there is no royalty in either case.

If you're just talking about what you've suggested, you're good to go from Epic's standpoint. It should be clear to your audience that you're not Epic, that the video isn't "official."
