Can Epic have Monthly Game Creation Events?

Hey Epic,

Another suggestion here! So one thing a friend of mine would participate in a gaming development hell month where you have to create a game based off a given theme from the host. This not only incentive competition but community involvement! Which I personally feel Epic can continue to do better at! I want to see this grow! There is a lot of beneficial by-products of said event that I think everyone including Epic can benefit from. So while I know you have a ■■■■ storm of work to do. I know you guys/gals at Epic may really appreciate seeing what results from this type of community event.

You should check out the forums at Forums.UnrealEngine.com to start a discussion on the topic. Try posting under the “General Discussion” or “Got skills? Looking for Talent?” to spark some interest. I am going to close this post as the AnswerHub is meant to be for users to ask questions for development issues they are having.

I personally think this is a fun and creative way to get and keep people inspired to try and do new things with the engine on a regular basis. It’s also a good way to try some of the new features we’re implementing montly!
