Animation blueprint

what would be the proper way to setup nodes in eventgraph if I just want to use one animation?

so. just setup the variables and nodes that that animation needs.

It is actually very simple: Just use the Play Animation node on the skeletal mesh (target). Put whatever animation you want to play, and have it looping or not.
