[Bug] Crash: Scene Texture Node, When Placing in Material Graph, Every Time

Dear Friends at Epic,

I am unable to use the Scene Texture node, when I try to drag/instance the node in the material editor, I get this crash, very reliably.

#Hotfix

I used the animation hotfix for beta6.

#UE4 Sample Content

When I try to open UE4 sample content from Epic that uses this node I get an instant crash, same error.

#Post Process

I cant do any work on my post process effects until I can get this node back

I presume this will be fixed for me in beta7 but I wanted to report the error in case the crash report is of use to you

Rama

Heya Rama,

I was able to create, modify, connect, disconnect, apply changes, and use the resulting material in the post process pipeline. So, this appears to be fixed in at least the latest internal build, and can be expected in a future Rocket release. =)

Cheers!

Ian

Thanks Ian!

  • many people didnt have this issue I do expect Beta7 fix for me personally  *
