Particles stop moving after few seconds

I have several particle emitters throughout my scene, different types like dust and ribbons attached to objects. When I’m in the editor or run my Matinee scene by hitting “play” in matinee, all of the particles move all the time as needed. But when I hit “Play” in the editor so the new window opens, all particles just stop moving after few seconds. And even a ribbon emitter stops working once an object it’s attached to enters an area near landscape.
It looks like something is blocking particles, but I didn’t set up any collision settings for them and I also have collisions removed for ALL my objects including landscape.
If I run the same simulation but without Matinee scene being “AutoPlay On” all particles fly around as needed.
Is it Matinee that causing it for some reason?

What might be causing this?

Problem solved. I had 2 Matinees set on “Autoplay on start”.
