AI cannot move through navmesh when nav agent radius is changed?

Don’t know if the solution to this is super obvious, apologies if it is. But I was initially having issues with my navmesh detecting stairs, upon researching the issue someone on the answerhub suggested that changing the agent radius in the recast navmesh would do the trick, which it did, great! My navmesh is now generating properly over stair slopes, but now my AI characters just stand around idling instead of actually moving around. I looked into changing their nav agent radii in the character blueprints, but I guess I really just don’t understand the concept because no matter what settings I try, I can’t seem to get my navmesh to generate over stairs properly AND have the AI characters move around in the navmesh. If anyone knows what I’m doing wrong here please help!!

I still experience this problem in UE4.13.0.
I don’t know if this is bug or not. Though, I found a makeshift solution.
