Macでレベルを保存する際名前をつけるのに時間がかかると落ちる

ブランクのプロジェクトで空のレベルを作り、名前をつけて保存する際に、
すぐに保存を押せばそのまま保存できるのですが、その際に名前を変更しようと時間をかけてしまうと(一秒ほど)、エディタがクラッシュしてしまいます。これはバグでしょうか? 開発が全く出来ず困っています。名前を変更せずに時間が経過しても落ちます。
何か解決方法はないでしょうか。

ちなみに、アンリアルエンジンはLauncherからインストールしたものですか?
それともVisual Studioを使ってビルドしたもの?

ランチャーからインストールしたものです。urlではスタートアップ時にクラッシュするとのことですが、当方の環境ではエディタ自体は普通に立ち上がってくれています。

ログのエラー箇所が同じように見えたのですが、解決方法は試されましたか?

英語の読解力が拙く、ちゃんと読めているのか心配なのですが、
解決方法というのは、LPVDirectionalOcclusion.usfのシンボリックリンクを作る、ということでいいのでしょうか?
書かれてあるケースでは、case-sensitiveなファイルシステム環境ではロードに失敗する、ということなようですが、調べた所、当方の環境はcase-sensitiveではありませんでした。一応、LPVDirectionalOcclusionのファイル名をLpvDirectionalOcculusionに変えてみて実行しましたが、変化はありませんでした。やはり名前をつける際にクラッシュします。

エンジンは再インストールしたのですが、URLに記載の解決法の、ランチャのインストールは試してなかったので、試してみようと思います。
ちなみに、UE4 4.12pre4では上記命名の際におけるクラッシュの症状は出なくなっておりました。が、時間が経つとメモリをどんどん消費しているようで、フリーズの症状がありました。問題の切り分けが難しいと感じてます。

おそらく、こちらの症状が最も近いような気がします。

ひとまずエンジンの再インストールは試されたでしょうか?Macはなにぶんバグレポートの件数も少ないので、こういう情報がオープンにならないとなかなか修正されません。一度全てインストール仕直してみることもおすすめいたします。
