Allowing player control during scripted Level Sequence

I feel like this should be possible (and probably is, I’m just missing an adjustment) but, I want to hand over control to the player during a pre-scripted cinematic animation that uses Sequencer. More specifically, I want to design and lay out everything in the awesome new Sequencer and use all of its features such as cinematic cameras and camera rigs. But I don’t want the player just sitting there watching a movie. I want the player to be able to freely walk around or fly around the level while the Sequencer does all of its things on its timeline.

If the player is interested in the cinematic sequence, they can stay put and watch the action through the cinematic camera with all its effects and fancy cinematic settings - or if they’re bored, let them wander around until it’s over. Additional question, could they still take control over the nice cinematic camera with its fancy settings and just fly around, basically overriding my director’s camera angle and position?

Sequencer is so new that there are not a lot of tutorials out there yet. Any direction would be appreciated, thanks!
