Floating Trees when using Foliage Painter

Hello there!

I have a probably easy-to-solve issue with the Foliage Painter in UE4.

Whenever I use the tool to quickly add a forest to my map, some of the trees get drawn in between others, hovering over the ground like this:

How can I fix this issue? I already tried to just kind-of mark it with the foliage tool and remove it, but it doesn’t work so well as there are always some leftovers. Especially annoying as I try to cover more space with it.

Is there a way to force the foliage to be attached to the ground?

I’m having the same issue. Could it be a version bug?

I had this with past versions as well, so probably not, I think.

Where is the pivot point on that particular mesh?
