Gear VR freezing - 40fps

Hi everybody,
i’m trying to make an application for gear vr. Idea is simple: it’s something like excursion, you are on planet, and when press start, planet starts to rotate and you are passing through a village.
I’m using low poly models and i don’t have many objects on scene.
So my problem is that when i run app on my Samsung S6, i have 40-45 fps but my view is freezing. I mean that when i press start planet is rotating perfect, but when i start to move camera it start freezes (there is still 40 fps).
Can somebody help me, or give an advice ?

Hard to tell with this data only. Could you post an example project/map with your problem?

Reading your description, I assume you checked all the best practices already.

Thx for answer. I read the post you writed and can say that i think i’m doing all right. In my project i’m using low poly model, only one directional light, ■■■ sky i use a low poly sphere, my materials maximum is using opacity, base color and rough settings, hdr is off, no post processes. I would like to shere sime screens but it’s a compony’s project, so i am not sure that i can do this.
For me it seems to be problems is in some numbers like “Textures sizes must be in a power of 2” - i have some texture 1000x1000, and also i need to check “The total triangle count of the level should not be greater than 100,000 for any view”.
I will write you as soon as i will test all of this.

Hi Ocramot,
thx for that link, i read it like 10 times and found some helpfull information. In fact i solutioned by deleted my directional light and add a sky light.
