It looks like Sequencer crashes every time I try to render a scene in .avi format. Even if resolution is only 1280x720. Thus it’s completely impossible to render out audio in Sequencer.
The only way to render audio is to grab the screen using Fraps or something like that and to use image sequence render option.

Are you typing “avi” into the Video Codec field? I just found a crash that occurs when you type that in(UE-31233). If you leave it blank with “Video Sequence” as your output, it will do avi by default without crashing.
Thank you ! It worked now, I had AVI or H.264 in a codec field, so it didn’t render. But there is still no sound recorded in that avi. I don’t know if there should be any though, if Sequencer even has that option?
i have same issue with crashing when I try to render mov or img sequence just it happens on Mac. tried different resolutions but without success.
We currently do not support sound on frame dumps (even when they’re being output as a video).
