Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

ue4's Camera in relation to other camera types (Ie. Maya, 3ds max, a 55 mm dslr etc.)

Hi there

i'm wondering what ue4's camera units measure up to in comparison to maya, max's or say a normal 18-55mm camera lens, does it have one it views/renders and image of the most similarly.

for example, lets say Z brush's angle of view is set to 51.4, then max/mayas(think they work the same) camera Fov/perspective viewport should be about 45 to match, then ue4's camera should be...? In order to match

I ask because i'm working on something in Z brush and have just learnt roughly how ZBrush converts to maya's or a dslr camera and am want to be able to keep the view and look consistent between all my programs.

thanks in advance for any answer.

(ps. i'm going from z brush-max-ue4, dunno if that's relevant info but better safe than sorry)
