Particle appear behind mesh

Hi,

I’m having an issue with my particle system, I’m trying to make a fire in a bowl, but the fire look as if it’s behind and in the bowl at the same time. I want the fire to look as the left side but it doesn’t work.

I compared the two materials inputs I’ve made and they are exactly the same, I looked at the required module of both emitter and they are the same (except the material). (both are translucent by the way)

I unchecked separate translucency it didn’t work.

I tried adding 1 to the opacity it didn’t work as well.

I tried making the bounding box real small it didn’t work.

Can’t think of anything else or find anything else on the net.

the one on the right looks additive instead of transparent?

But as I said, I already have looked for that :confused: Both are exactly the same.

Finally found it!

Was Depth Fade in the material who did that :stuck_out_tongue:

Now looking for a way to have it without this problem :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m having the same issue. If I turn off the depth fade though, I get weird shadows from the particle.
