Textures shows in black when packaging for gear VR

Ok here’s my problem when ever i try to package a sample first person project to my note 5 (android 6.0.1 marshmallow) i get all textures in black except the default gun and the sky i did everything according to the documentations the from copying the osig file and SDK download assigning plugins for gear vr and the android 19 SDK and the NVPACK assigned folders i have android works 1R1 from the android folder not the 1R2 from nvidia site up to configuring my device for development all is done and while surfing the net i crumbled with multiple articles stating that the unreal is not yet compatible with marshmallow so…

HERE İS THE REAL QUESTION IS UNREAL COMPATIBLE WITH MARSHMALLOW OR NOT???

Yeah and btw i am talking about gear VR here not just normal android packaging if it helps to know…

and that’s how it looks on my telephone

Does it render black in the Mobile Previewer?

yes rimmy it also renders like this in mobile previewer

actually i just need an answer about the marshmallow lollipop thing is it true that unreal is not fully compatible with marshmallow yet?
should i downgrade to lollipop to make it works?

I think only Epic could answer that. I can’t help you there but will bump your question in hopes it gets attention.

i managed to solve this problem although it was a strange solution but i noted that only materials with normal map attached to them and materials with only emissive parameter are showing so i attached a normal texture to all the materials and that solved the problem… thanks rimmyD for the help
