Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

AI Sensing Peripheral Vision Angles > 180 are ignored

I have a spider whose field of view is 270°. The AI Pawn Sensing component is workin fabolous - with one exempt: The vision angle for pawn sensing can not be set > 180°.

Is this a bug or a feature?

It's still ignored in 4.16 and the bug ticket seems to have been resolved as "Cannot reproduce" :(

You'll want to use PeripheralVisionHalfAngleDegrees and set half the vision cone that you actually want. For example, if I want a 270 degree cone, I would set it to 135.

The viewport stops rendering the change at 90 as well, which gives the impression that it isn't actually increasing the peripheral past 90
