Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hey Jerry-

Can you explain exactly what the problem is you're getting along with details about what you were doing when it occurred? Was this error encountered when compiling code or attempting to package a project? If you're looking for the project's log files, you can find them in the Saved/Logs folder in the project directory.

Doug, after successfully converting my project from 11.2 to 12.0, some items in the scene are not positioned correctly, and they do not render at all. They are not visible in the scene even though they are in the World tree, can be clicked and zoomed on.

Since this post was for the issue of being able to upgrade / compile the project, it would be best to create a new post for the issues you're having after the conversion. This will help prevent information from one issue being buried inside another post and will help others when searching for information regarding the same problems.
