How to use postProcessInput

Hey Guys,

when i use the postProcessInput0 setting in the sceneTexture node it shows just black when i assign the material.
can someone tell me how to set up a scene so it will be visible in the material??
I´m pretty sure i have to assign a volume to these inputs. But i don’t know how

i already googled it and looked at examples but i can’t figure it out…

The question is quite old but but fairly simple to answer:

  1. Create a material
  2. Set the material domain to “Post Process”
  3. Add a scene texture
  4. Set the scene texture id to PostProcessInput0

To use the material you need a PostProcessVolume in your scene

  1. Under “Rendering Features” - “Post Process Materials” add a new entry to the array
  2. Select “Choose” and hit “Asset reference”
  3. Drop the material you created into the slot
