Can't deploy to IOS on PC

I’ve been trying to deploy/package to IOS in 4.12 preview 5, the github version. I keep getting an unknown error that seems to be related to the UnrealBuildTool trying to use a remote server even though it’s not set up to do so. This only occurs on the github version as I moved the project to 4.12 preview 5 on the launcher and it deploys fine. This is a blueprint project, but I’ve tried it with a code project also and I can’t get it deploy either way. The unknown error seems to occur at the same place. But as I can’t find this UnrealBuildTool log .txt file, I can’t confirm where it’s happening. I also tried to find info on the packaging a code based project for IOS on PC, but it’s a little ambiguous. On the guide it says only blueprint based projects can be packaged on PC, but then it later on says if you have the github source then it can deploy/package code projects for IOS on PC. This leaves me a little unsure on whether or not we need to invest in a Mac for this kind of deployment. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
