90 degrees snapping breaks gizmo rotation

When rotating something in the editor by using the gizmo and having the snapping set to 90 degrees it refuses to rotate any more after it rotated a few times. Sometimes it refuses 1 axis and sometimes all axis and it refuses always back and forth. To make it work again I have to turn snapping off and tweak the rotation numbers til it lets me rotate again. Needless to say this is very annoying. I’m aware that there is something like Euler locking but this really should not affect any in editor rotating and certainly should not make it completely lock all rotation!

Hi Davision,

I was unable to reproduce the issue with the following steps:

  1. Open a new blank template in UE4.11.2
  2. Drag a box shape into the viewer
  3. Scale/elongate cube along one axis to be able to see rotation
  4. Set rotation snap to 90°
  5. In perspective view, rotate block shape in 90° increments along all three axes multiple times
  6. In top view, rotate block shape in 90° increments multiple times

RESULT: Rotates as expected.

If these steps do not represent the bug you are reporting, please provide more accurate repro steps in this format so that I can more accurately recreate the issue on our end.

Thanks,

.
