No shadows in 4.12 since release

I’ve upgraded my project to 4.12, I was using the previews before the stable version was released, and now I have no shadows, like at all. I’ve tried enabling “Generate Mesh Distance Fields”, and I’ve even built a few dummy projects from the example templates, but no matter what I do, I can’t get one shadow out of it. I’ve got a GTX 970 in case that’s helpful.

Make sure your Engine Scalability is set to EPIC. That would be the first thing to check.
